We are seeking hardworking volunteers to help with this special event!
The Travis 4th of July Parade is a unique event, which helps make Travis and Staten Island a special place to live. None of this would be possible without the hardworking volunteers who help bring this vision into reality each year.
Volunteer activities include: posting signs, monitoring parking lots, lining up floats/marchers, and other support tasks. We meet once a month starting in March and weekly starting in June. If you cannot make all the meetings and want to assist the day of the parade, that will be a great help as well.
Volunteering is an excellent way for students to gain community service credit. If you require a letter certifying your volunteer hours, simply notify us.

Any nonprofit, civic, social, youth, or veterans’ organization from Staten Island or surrounding communities can enter the parade. Local Businesses and corporations are also welcome to enter.
Entries are by invitation only. The Parade Committee will decide if your submission fits the criteria for our parade. If your entry is selected, you will receive an official invite.
Entries that promote political, religious, social, economic, or personal agendas will not be accepted.
